I literally just opened this tool up, so I don’t have a lot to say about it. It’s easy to use – pretty intuitive – and Twitter offers little pop-ups as you work that point out how to get started. This certainly has some potential. It would be handy to have this tool while covering breaking or trending events, since you can pick and choose the best or most interesting tweets to add to the timeline. It doesn’t seem very useful for selecting a limited amount of tweets, though. If you only had five or six tweets to show off, you’d be better off embedding them individually, I think.
Keep an eye out – I’ll report back after I have a chance to play with this tool some more.
